Currently the Chief Executive Officer of Terrapass, Erik Blachford was formerly
President and CEO of Expedia, Inc. and CEO of IAC/InterActiveCorp's travel division,
IAC Travel, including online travel businesses Expedia, Hotels.com, Hotwire,
Classic Custom Vacations and Interval International. Previous positions include
President, Expedia North America and Expedia Senior Vice President,
Marketing & Programming.
Erik serves as a board director at TerraPass, Zillow, (Seattle, WA), Glassdoor, (San Francisco, CA) and Butterfield & Robinson (Toronto, ON). Erik holds a bachelor's degree in English and certificate in theater from Princeton University and a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business.
Erin Craig is TerraPass' Vice President of Carbon Management Services. She brings over 15 years' experience in the environmental and public policy fields as a regulator, consultant, and corporate leader. During her tenure at Sun Microsystems she collaborated with hardware, software and packaging teams to develop design standards for energy efficiency, hazardous constituents reduction, labeling, and end-of-life management. She also represented Sun in a variety of policy debates, and chaired the Electronic Industries Association's Environmental Committee, a leading trade association in the advocacy of public policy positions concerning energy use and hazardous materials in computer hardware. In the early 1990s, Erin worked for Apple Computer and was responsible for the company's efforts to rid supplies of ozone-depleting substances.
Erin joined TerraPass from Salesforce.com, where she lead the Delivery Excellence team within the Services organization. Erin earned an MS in Technology and Policy from MIT, a BS in Geophysics from Stanford University, and a Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Sun Microsystems.
Pete Davies
General Manager
Pete is the General Manager for TerraPass.com and oversees its consumer retail operations. Prior to joining TerraPass, Pete worked as a journalist and senior producer for BBC Radio News. He produced live radio programs from around the world in locations from Australia to Zimbabwe. He also ran his own live events marketing company.
Pete is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh and has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Katie McCann
Vice President, Engineering & Product Development
Katie McCann currently serves as Vice President of Engineering and Product Management at TerraPass, where she oversees the design and development of the terrapass.com website. Katie has spent almost 10 years building consumer-facing websites, previously holding positions at companies including gifts.com and edmunds.com. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.
Mark Mondik
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining TerraPass as Chief Financial Officer in June 2008, Mark spent 10 years with Delphos International, Ltd., a financial advisory and investment firm focused on renewable energy and other infrastructure projects worldwide.
As Vice President of Delphos International, Mark raised more than $1 billion in debt and equity capital for such projects, including those approved under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol.
Previous positions include Director of Strategic Investments for Telcordia Technologies and Manager of Strategy for Lucent Technologies. Mark has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from The American University and an MBA from Columbia University.
Alicia Seiger
Vice President, Business Development
Alicia Seiger is Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Sales at TerraPass. Prior to joining TerraPass, Alicia was Director of Business Development and General Manager of Wine Clubs at Wine.com, the country's largest online wine retailer.
Alicia is a graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she was co-president of the Environmental Management club. After earning her MBA, Alicia spent two years as a research assistant and case writer for the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the Stanford GSB.
Alicia has also held Senior Manager positions in sales and business development at online marketing firms Engage Technologies and Flycast Communications. Alicia hopes that TerraPass will let her harmonize her business skills with her environmental passions. Alicia holds a BA in Environmental Science and Policy and Cultural Anthropology from Duke University.
Adam Stern
Vice President for Policy and Strategy
Adam Stern is Vice President for Policy and Strategy at TerraPass. He has 25 years of experience in environmental policy, advocacy, and business development. Previously, Adam served as vice president for business development at Care2.com, a popular environmental web site; deputy director at the Environmental Defense Fund in New York; special assistant for international affairs at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington; and executive director of the Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life (COEJL) in New York and San Francisco. Adam is a graduate of Yale University (B.A., History) and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.).
